This candle has a very soft fresh scent. Even when not lit and just left open you can still smell it. It's not going to fill your entire apartment with an aroma but it does work well in small rooms. For me I think it's a little too expensive for what it does. If you don't mind spending 40 bucks on a candle then I say go for it!   Ryan 10/10/12
