Located in the heart of South Houston (or Soho as it is affectionately called), this our second store in the area. While our flagship store is on Spring Street between Mercer and Broadway, our Prince Street store is much smaller and more intimate along with being train and subway adjacent. After a long walk on the Brooklyn Bridge, shopping Canal Street, perusing the Apple store or a sumptuous meal in Chinatown, this is the place to visit.
Our friendly, ethusiatic, apron-wearing staff is here to serve--go ahead and indulge yourself and ask them to sample our world famous sea salt scrubs or hand lotions for great-smelling, velvet-soft hands. Make sure to take home some of our handmade, freshly cut soap samples in tart flavors like kiwi or strawberry lemonade or a subtle lavender--try a couple and find yourself coming back and buying every flavor we sell. Our perfumes are also popular light frangrances that can be worn every day. Specially created for Sabon in France, there are unique scents for men and women and unisex ones, as well. Our body sprays are more subtle and are used to refresh and enhance any mood. Body Dew in Kiwi Mango, Citrus and Patchouli Lavender Vanilla contain no alcohol and work for many skin types and really lasts.

Yelp review for Sabon Prince Shop in SOHO NYC

"So you know what's funny? I've never actually purchased anything here. However, I do walk by their storefront every day on my way home from work. And maybe twice a month, I manage to run into a pleasant employee outside in an apron with a basket of small sample soap slices.
As a result, I've tried a bunch of their homemade soaps, all of which are pretty smell amazing (except for the scent-free one...obviously). My favorites so far have been the kiwi and the strawberry lemonade (tart flavors apparently make for good soap smells). I picked up a lilac one today, which is a beautiful translucent mauve color.
They have other bath/home type products such as those fragrance diffusers, but I honestly can't say anything about those. This is a small branch of theirs, but all the workers I've encountered have been super friendly.
Tip: Free soap samples! I haven't had to buy soap for my bathroom sink since I moved into this neighborhood..."

"I can't really afford to buy anything in here other than a bar of soap.
However I can still enjoy the hand washing. You can test out the sea salt scrub and hand lotion. It is amazing. It exceeded ALL of my expectations, and my hands felt the softest they've ever felt and smelled wonderful for the rest of the day. I am not exaggerating.
(I recommend the Apple Lavender)
The person who assisted us with our hand washing was so delightful and funny and enthusiastic, she made me want to buy everything in the store. But she wasn't pushy ... just really helpful. I guess that is the definition of good service."
