The Perfumes Are Back In Town!

Posted by Sabon NYC  |  January 11th, 2012

Sabon Daily Perfumes

We know you’ve all been waiting for our Daily Perfumes by the amount of emails and letters we have received from you, begging to know when they will be back in stock. Not to mention all the people coming to the stores. Well, Sabon Daily Perfumes are back!!!! And better than ever!

Not only did we get ALL of them back, but we also got a brand new one – Noam. It is a gentle vanilla based perfume and it smells amazing. So when all of you are planning to run to the Sabon stores and pick up your Oneg or Zohar try a little bit of Noam. You won’t be disappointed.

We finally got the Daily Perfumes back to the stores on Christmas Eve. For us working that night it was like opening holiday presents. We all immediately put them and business in the Sabon stores literally stopped for 30 minutes as we all huddled around the perfume boxes.

It’s good to have them back. Good to smell like Sabon again.

To you who have only recently discovered Sabon and have never tried our perfumes; they are all Eau Du Toilette Perfumes with light and gentle fragrances for everyday use. The unique blends were created in Normandy, France, exclusively for Sabon and in cooperation with Daniel Gapso, the international fragrance specialist.

We especially recommend Oneg, which is the closest to the Sabon signature fragrance – Patchouli Lavender Vanilla. It is a mixture of Patchouli and Vanilla sticks from Madagascar, with notes of chocolate, toffee and citrus extract.

The True Essence of Pleasure.

Always start by going through your closet for the perfect outfit and pair it up with some stylish shoes like a pair of Jimmy Chos or your newest pair of Manolo Blahniks. If you’re indecisive, leave a few outfits and shoes out on your bed and make the final decision when you’re ready to actually get dressed.

But before you do anything, make sure your purse is ready. Switch from your giant daytime bag to your glamorous much smaller nighttime purse. Fill it with all the necessities—gum/mints, cell phone, money, ID, make-up, condoms, keys and anything else you might need. Always make sure to pack as light as possible, though.

If you’re in a rush, go for a shower. But, if you have a leisurely hour or two before you head out, opt for a luxurious bath. My favorite thing to do is to throw in a Sabon Lilac Bath Ball or a dash of Lavender Bath Foam—it’s light and not overpowering and you can still dab on some perfume later. With a shower, you can use some hand-milled soap to smooth your skin and have a delicate scent—go for Bamboo, Grass, Green Tea soaps from Sabon. While you’re drying off, wash your face with Aloe Vera Cleanser, apply Seaweed Cleanser to a cotton ball to remove the remaining dirt and put some Seaweed Moisture Lotion to your face and Eye Cream under your eyes. Brush your teeth, apply your makeup and you’re done.

Once you’ve decided on the perfect outfit and have it on, add some jewelry and accessories like some faux flowers in your hair, a jeweled headband or a simple barrette. Understated is always best so everyone will be eyeing your clothes and more importantly your shoes. Dab a few drops of perfume on your neck and behind your ears, and you’re ready for a night on the town. Check your purse one last time to make sure you haven’t forgotten anything like your lipstick or eyeliner. And if you’re going to be walking a lot, you might want to throw in a pair of flats.

Luck be a Loofah (Soap)

Posted by admin  |  February 28th, 2010

lemon-loofa-soap

Sponge away impurities with our lemon Loofah Soap. The loofah is more soothing than traditional soap, and gives your skin better results. This only happens, though, if you remember to use it. And if you’ve ever felt the freezing water a loofah holds from hanging in your shower, you’ll know that sometimes using one is not as easy as it sounds. Enter the Loofah Soap combination—no more freezing water, and a quicker and better exfoliation for your skin.

The lemon scent is clean and refreshing, and your skin will appreciate the new found softness. First, wet the soap until it is soft enough to lather between your hands. Then apply it to wet skin over any spots that need exfoliating. Knees, elbows, and feet are great for this product. Gently scrub away the impurities while maintaining a comfortable smoothness. Rinse well once you’re done to remove any excess soap left behind.

Loofah Soap is also available in Amber, Lychee, and Lavender scents if you’ve already got the Lemon taken care of. Add to the life of your loofah by keeping it dry between showers. Sea sponges are also a great idea for guys, as it takes away the need for two products. Just lather and go.

Mud Masks for Deep Detox

Posted by admin  |  February 26th, 2010

mud-mask

If you feel your skin has been looking not quite its best, the Mud Mask is here to take away the worry. Whisk away dead skin cells and improve your skins radiant appearance with this once a week regimen.

Our Mud Mask is a thick, rich, creamy mask full of minerals from the Dead Sea. The cooling effect will immediately wake up your skin, and since you leave the mask on for 10 minutes, you know by the time you’ve finished you will feel amazing. Diminish the appearance of large pores and give your skin the therapeutic detoxification it deserves.

First, make sure your skin is clean by washing your face. Dry gently, and leave your skin a little damp. Next, apply a thin layer all over, but avoid your eye and mouth areas. 10 minutes is the minimum to provide results, but feel free to let the mask sit for up to a full 20. Relax while you’re skin takes in everything the Dead Sea has to offer. You’ll start to look forward to this calming weekly ritual. After 10-20 minutes have passed, be sure to rinse the mask from your face thoroughly.

Your skin will be left feeling rejuvenated, and the minimizing of redness and sunspots will have you feeling confident again. The Mud Mask compliments greatly with the Seaweed Moisturizing Lotion for a flight and refreshing feeling.

Lotion Your Hands will Love

Posted by admin  |  February 25th, 2010

lavender-rose-hand-cream

Your hands are always there for you. They hold your phone, type on your keyboard, and put your pillow on your bed when you want to go to sleep. They sign your name, and keep you from tripping by tying your shoes. It’s time to give something back to your hands.

Lavender Rose Hand Cream is the perfect way to make them feel appreciated. It will be a difficult surprise unless you can have someone else open the box, but the sentiment won’t be lost.

The refined and non-greasy texture will keep your hands from suffering any unnecessary downtime. Since it is vitamin enriched with vanity in mind, your skin will be looking smoother and younger. Your fingers can text message proudly. The discreet scent of this soothing lotion will keep them from getting that “bathed-in” reputation—subtlety at its finest.

Having a light fragrance and instant usability make this hand cream a great unisex gift, so you don’t have to worry about buying your hands the wrong thing. The relaxing effects of lavender rose will give them back that debonair suaveness you’re used to.

It is the thought that counts. Tangible thoughts are more easily appreciated, though, so give your hands something they deserve!
